About Our Venue:

Located atop the historic D & F Clock Tower in the heart of Denver, this new venue features five unique floors connected by staircases. Two of the floors offer wrap-around balconies affording breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. The décor throughout is chic & modern. During December our venue is beautifully decorated for the holidays to create a fun & festive mood. We can also provide music. Perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony, or a unique, progressive style reception, party, or dinner!

Capacity:

Our 5 floor venue can accommodate groups of 10 -150 people if spread throughout the space. Ceremonies or presentations where guests need to be all in one area usually take place on our 18th floor with the giant clock faces providing a stunning backdrop. We can seat around 50-60 on this floor. For standing presentations, we can accommodate more on our Observation Deck floor & Mezzanine below. For smaller groups, we have designed fun, progressive style events where guests can dine floor by floor, ending up with dessert inside the bell tower itself. Contact us for more information on these unique types of events. Additionally, we’d be happy to customize something to fit your specific event. Floor plans are available upon request.

Rental Fees:

Our fees vary depending on the day of the week, time of day, holidays, etc. See our rates page for a list of our rental fees.

Photo Shoot:

Includes full use of the 5 floors, Clock Faces, Balconies with sweeping views of the city and mountains, two story Spiral Staircase, etc. These are usually scheduled on our slower days and later in the day to take advantage of the preferred lighting filtering through the Clock Faces. Sunset from the balconies is also popular.

Propose atop the Clock Tower:

Leave your fiancé with a romantic story of your proposal she’ll be proudly sharing for years (or surprise your date on an anniversary, birthday, etc. with an unforgettable night. We’ll work with you to design the perfect surprise evening to ‘pop the question’ and will assist you with music of your choosing playing when you arrive, romantic candle light and flowers throughout, chilled Champagne & chocolate covered strawberries and someone on hand to capture the moment with pictures. (Please provide your own camera.) Typically booked a month or less prior to your proposal. For dinners, we can recommend several restaurants that will deliver and have dinner ready when you arrive or shortly thereafter.

Private Tower Tours:

Starting in December, 2013! Take a private guided tour of the Clock Tower by a noted Denver historian including many areas not open to the public. See the original Seth Thomas clock mechanism, go behind the mysterious Clock Faces on our 18th floor, take in expansive views of the city and mountains from our two balconies, and hear more Tower Tales from our 20th floor Observation Deck as you enjoy refreshments. Tour time is 45 minutes. Price is $15 per person age 12 and older. Must be able to walk 5 flights of stairs. Comfortable footwear is encouraged. Rental Period:

For our evening events, we provide up to 10 hours of venue time which will include set up and tear down. Set up time begins at 3:00 p.m. unless prior arrangements are made. We do not offer discounts for less time used for our evening events. Included in your rental fee:

  • 60 White Chivari Chairs with black cushions.
  • Assorted tables Including: 2 six foot and 2 eight foot banquet (for use on the 17th floor), 2 four foot rounds, 11 tall cabaret, 7 four foot rectangle, 1 serpentine, 1 card table, and 1 cupcake stand.
  • Assorted sizes of black tablecloths for all of our tables.
  • Stationary bar on the 20th Floor.
  • Assorted decorative chairs, couches and barstools throughout.
  • Use of sound systems and music coordination.
  • Use of extensive décor inventory(battery operated candles, silk floral displays, draping, crystal candelabras, etc.)
  • Clock Tower Events House Manager.
  • Cleaning before and after your event.
  • The freedom to work with your own caterer and purchase your own alcohol.

Liquor Policy:

You are free to bring in your own alcohol but it must be served by an insured caterer or bartendar. If your caterer does not provide bar staff, we recommend a company called Peak Beverage, www.peakbev.com or call 720.722.1140. Caterers will typically coordinate alcohol purchases with clients. We don’t allow kegs.

Parking:

Off street meters or at nearby surface lots. Park Central Garage is across the street from our facility on 16th St. between Arapahoe & Lawrence (entrance is off of Lawrence). Evening rates vary, but are typically $10. Valet options are available at the nearby Westin Hotel or at our facility through a private valet company. We have listed the two we prefer on our Preferred Vendors page.

Cancellations:

At this time, Clock Tower Events has a no cancellation, no refund policy.

Children:

Due to certain architectural features of the space, our venue is not suitable for small children that are left unattended. Children must be supervised at all times. Contact us for more information.

Please be aware that due to the large number of stairs required (5 flights), our venue may not be advisable for guests with disabilities.
